New Holland Auction, PA 9/3/06

Animals' Angels investigators conducted a routine check of the sheep barn, when the discovered three severely injured sheep. All three of them were in terrible condition, one of them was missing hunks of skin all over the body. AA investigators gave the suffering animals some water and then contacted the humane officer in charge.

Upon arrival, he determined that there was no chance of recovery and humanely euthanized the animals. Charges against New Holland Sales Stables were filed and the auction was found guilty of three counts of animal cruelty by Judge Rodney Hartman.
